Q:Can I run two 5.5kw units in parallel for 11kw and use a step down transformer for 110 ac ?

A:Hi dear customer, yes, this will work, but please noted that the transformer used should also be an 11KW transformer. If a 5KW transformer is used, the output will only be 5KW after transformation, without 11KW.



Q:Can you use with a wind turbine instead of solar?

A:Hi dear customer, I am afraid use with a wind turbine instead of solar is not workable for this inverter.



Q:Regarding your 5500w, which you have commented on) 48v dc to 230vac with 60a mppt, can it work without battery?

A:Hello, friend, yes, it can work without battery, the PV connection, but you need to notice : Before connecting to PV modules, please install separately a DC circuit breaker between inverter and PV modules.



Q:How many hours can this inverter run without battery? Just charging laptop, phone, fridge and the TV

A:No battery mode means that when the system has no battery or the system has a battery, but the battery is dormant for some reason, the inverter can still ensure normal operation with sufficient photovoltaics.

When the photovoltaic power is less than the load power, all the photovoltaic energy is supplied to the load, and the insufficient part is supplemented by the mains, and the photovoltaic and the mains are combined to carry the load. When the photovoltaic power is greater than the load power, the photovoltaic energy is preferentially provided to the load, and the excess energy can be used to charge the battery. If there is no battery, the inverter adjusts the power generated by the photovoltaic according to the current load to ensure that the inverter will not transmit power to the grid.(Pls note, we don't suggest use inverter without battery long time, it will affects the long-term stability of the device)

Tips: AC input/output connection

Please follow below steps to implement AC input/output connection:

  • Before making AC input/output connection, be sure to open DC protector or disconnector first.

  • Remove insulation sleeve 10mm for six conductors. And shorten phase L and neutral conductor N 3 mm.

  • Insert AC input wires according to polarities indicated on terminal block and tighten the terminal screws. Be sure to connect PE protective conductor first.

  • Then, insert AC output wires according to polarities indicated on terminal block and tighten terminal screws. Be sure to connect PE protective conductor first.

  • Make sure the wires are securely connected.

CAUTION:

  • Be sure to connect AC wires with correct polarity. If L and N wires are connected reversely, it may cause utility short-circuited when these inverters are worked in parallel operation.

  • Appliances such as air conditioner are required at least 2~3 minutes to restart because it’s required to have enough time to balance refrigerant gas inside of circuits.

  • This 5500W inverter is single phase inverter,support 48V battery only, does not support parallel.

  • In the mains bypass mode, the device cannot be connected to two-phase 220V AC power, that is, L1-L2 cannot be connected to L-N.

  • In inverter mode, after the device is connected to two-phase 220V, please do not select the mains priority as the output priority, so as to avoid potential safety hazards for the device.

  • Do not connect the AC output end of the device to an autotransformer, so as not to affect the normal service life of the device.

Tips:

The correct configuration of the battery capacity of the system is determined according to the specific use requirements of the load and application scenarios, otherwise it will easily lead to insufficient battery capacity or excessive waste of power generation. For details, please refer to the manual recommendation or consult us.

Parallel Version inverter can be used in parallel with two different operation modes.


  • Parallel operation in single phase with up to 9 units. The supported maximum output power is 45KW/45KVA.

  • Maximum nine units work together to support three-phase equipment. Seven units support onephase maximum. The supported maximum output power is 45KW/45KVA and one phase can be up to 35KW/35KVA.


NOTE:


  • If this unit is bundled with share current cable and parallel cable, this inverter is default supported parallel operation.

  • For proper air circulation to dissipate heat, allow a clearance of approx. 20 cm to the side and approx. 50 cm above and below the unit. Be sure to install each unit in the same level.

  • Be sure the length of all battery cables is the same. Otherwise,there will be voltage difffference between inverter and battery to cause parallel inverters not working.


Important Note:


  • In the mains bypass mode, the device cannot be connected to two-phase 220V AC power, that is, L1-L2 cannot be connected to L-N.

  • In inverter mode, after the device is connected to two-phase 220V, please do not select the mains priority as the output priority, so as to avoid potential safety hazards for the device.
