If your solar panel is larger than 5V(e.g. 6V 9V 12V 18V 24V 36V 48V), you can convert it to 5V with DC-DC buck module(e.g. DD2712SA_5V/DD8024TA_5V).
This solar charge controller features an 'OK' LED indicating full charge or battery failure, and a 'CR' LED showing the charging status. It supports 3.7V Li-ion batteries with a voltage range of 4.2V to 4.5V. The input DC voltage is 4.4-6V.
